Founder and Executive Director of Civitatis International - Researchers Without Borders, Jan has served as the rapporteur for the World Political Forum in Italy, a forum founded by its President, Mikhail Gorbachev comprised of heads of state and government, international institutions and banking foundations, for whom he drafted the annual report for 2003: Toward The New World Civilization, New Unity New Fractures, the World of the XXI Century. Jan has also assisted in the drafting and preparation of the Document for Ministerial Consideration that was presented to the third intergovernmental conference of the Community of Democracies in Santiago, Chile. He has been a researcher to the late: Air Marshal The Lord Garden KCB, and has been rapporteur for the State of the World Forum - Commission on Globalisation at the European Parliament. He has has spoken at the Academic Council on the United Nations System 'World Free from Fear' conference at the UN on a new doctrine of state sovereignty and is a Fellow of the 21st Century Trust. His most recent publication is "Just What are European Values?", published by the Wyndham Place Charlemagne Trust in follow up to the Eleventh Charlemagne Lecture. Jan is currently studying law in London.
